At Uthavi Charitable Trust, all donations made are considered voluntary contributions that go directly toward supporting community welfare, reforestation, healthcare, and education programs. Therefore, donations are generally non-refundable once processed successfully through our payment gateways.

2. Exceptional Refund Scenarios

We recognize that mistakes can happen. We will review and process refund requests in the following exceptional cases:

• Duplicate Transactions: If a donor accidentally makes a duplicate donation due to technical delays or multiple clicks.
• Technical Glitches: If an error occurs in our web server or payment gateway after money is deducted but before the transaction completes.
• Unauthorized Card Usage: If a donation is made using a lost, stolen, or compromised payment instrument without the owner's consent.

To request a refund under one of the exceptional scenarios listed above, please email us within 7 days of the donation date. Your email must include:

• Donor's Full Name and Registered Email.
• Transaction Date and Amount.
• Payment Gateway Reference / Transaction ID.
• Clear description and evidence supporting the refund request (e.g., bank statement proof).

5. Processing Timeline

Once we receive your request, our team will review the transaction and verify it against bank logs. If approved, the refund will be initiated and credited back to your original source of payment (bank account/card/wallet) within 5 to 7 working days, subject to standard banking settlement cycles.

6. Donation Cancellation (Monthly Commitments)

If you have signed up for recurring monthly donations, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply email us at uthavi.trust@gmail.com at least 5 working days before your next scheduled payment date. No cancellation fees apply.
